Sidney Saunders

This upcoming 2024-2025 season will be my 3rd year coaching at Rage. During School season I coach 8th grade at El Portal middle school; this will be my 4th year there. I first started playing volleyball myself in high school at Escalon High. I also played club in my high school years. I then went on to play beach volleyball at Feather River College. I come from a family of five, I am the oldest sibling and have two younger brothers. I also work at a local elementary school while completing my bachelors degree with plans on becoming an elementary school teacher. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities and being with animals, friends, and family. As a young up-and-coming coach I have fresh eyes of the game. Being a previous player myself helps me understand the life of an athlete. I believe you can never have enough knowledge of anything. I always am learning and improving myself as a coach.

2022 & 2023 Mid Valley Athletic League (El Portal Middle School)
8th Grade Head Coach; Qualifying and placing lacing 1st both years while maintaining 16-0 record both seasons.
