Rebecca Conley-Elliott

"Coaching youth volleyball isn't just about teaching the game; it's about nurturing young athletes to believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and grow both as players and individuals. It's incredibly fulfilling to witness their journey of development and self-discovery, knowing that I'm shaping not just their skills, but also their confidence and resilience for life beyond the court."

Head Coach 16-2 National Team

With a passion for volleyball that spans over a decade, I bring extensive experience both on the court and on the sidelines. Currently in my 7th season coaching club volleyball, I have dedicated four years to coaching at RAGE, where I’ve been able to mentor and develop talented athletes.

In parallel, I proudly serve as the Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Calaveras High School in San Andreas, heading into my fourth season. Each season qualifying for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs. This role allows me to instill a love for the sport while fostering a competitive spirit among my players.

My journey in volleyball began with 12 years of playing experience, culminating in four years at California State University, Stanislaus, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of the game. This background informs my coaching philosophy, emphasizing technical proficiency, teamwork, and personal growth.

I am committed to continuing my professional development in volleyball coaching, driven by a desire to see my players excel both on and off the court. Passionate about cultivating a supportive and competitive environment, I strive to empower athletes to reach their full potential in volleyball and beyond.

I started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old.

My favorite aspect of coaching volleyball is guiding players to discover the transformative power of self-confidence and risk-taking. I believe that when players trust in their abilities and embrace challenges, they not only enhance their skills on the court but also experience personal growth that extends far beyond volleyball.

As a coach, I emphasize creating an environment where players feel empowered to push their boundaries and step outside their comfort zones. By encouraging them to take calculated risks and learn from both successes and setbacks, I aim to instill resilience and a growth mindset. Witnessing players develop this confidence and resilience is incredibly rewarding for me as a coach.

I find joy in seeing players realize their potential not only as athletes but also as individuals who are capable of overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals. This journey of self-discovery and improvement is what drives my passion for coaching volleyball, as it allows me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my players both on and off the court.
