Fatima Handy

For the past 10 years, I have been with Rage Volleyball as a parent and as a coach. I enjoy spending time with family and going on outdoor adventures. My husband Craig coaches football and my daughter, Julia, recently completed her collegiate career as a setter for Fresno State. I am a firm believer in teaching fundamental technique at a young age. It is important to get them started on the right path when they begin playing volleyball. I have a Graduate Degree from SFSU and am a Professor at Delta College for Speech-Language Pathology Program.

Club Coaching Experience:

• Develops the younger age groups at Rage.
• Teams have historically made it into the Gold Division of NCVA’s Power League.
• 12u and 13u teams have qualified to play at Girls Junior National Championships.

High School Coaching:

• Presently the assistant varsity coach at Turlock High School.
• Won a Division I Section Championship.
• Previous head varsity coach for boys and girls teams at Hilmar High School.

Playing Experience:

• Hilmar High School.
• California State University, Stanislaus.

Education:

• Graduate Degree at San Francisco State University.
• Undergraduate Degree from Fresno State. Go Dogs!
